Job Description:

Site Supervisor CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Site Supervisor to join the team located at the Hallmark Building.

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

1. Provide leadership, supervision and development of team members on the contract.
2. Ensure M&E Reactive and extra works jobs are completed on time and to the right quality using direct labour team and approved subcontractors. Ensure multiple stakeholders on the site are kept updated.
3. Provide technical support to all engineers & the leadership team regarding all reactive works, assisting in coordinating billable/minor works that deliver against time and budget requirements while meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure engineers are working productively completing reactive jobs on site. Provide Technical Support where needed. Organise and plan engineers on site to ensure they are working proactively.
2. Drive the productivity of the engineers on site to reduce their open jobs to an acceptable standard.
3. Maintain knowledge of open jobs on site and complete high profile jobs within an acceptable time.
4. Conduct regular meetings with the engineers, including toolbox talks, risk assessments and general communication.
5. Call in subcontractors where needed to complete reactive jobs.
6. Review and approve all RAMS for reactive works, ensuring safety.
7. Audit direct labour and subcontractor works to ensure quality of work and safety of working practices.
8. Raise and follow through of permits for high-risk activities including hot works, excavation etc.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

1. Assist the Contract Manager in completing extra works projects.
2. Work alongside the compliance team to run operations.
3. Collaborate with other team areas to provide assistance and guidance as needed.
4. Sign in contractors and provide inductions as needed.
5. Participate in a duty manager rota as agreed with the site team, dealing with escalations on site out of working hours.
6. Be available out of hours on occasion to deal with escalations on site.
7. Attend city centre venues on occasion to assist in workload.
8. Send out regular updates to multiple stakeholders on site regarding job status.
9. Liaise with helpdesk to provide updates on jobs.
10. Travel around site during the day attending jobs and updating multiple stakeholders.
11. Manage multiple jobs simultaneously in a professional manner while providing good communication.
12. Work on the move and multi-task.
13. Plan in rota with PPM supervisor to ensure all events and exhibitions are covered in the month.
14. Identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with reactive operations.
15. Assist contract support and Contract Manager in administering the reactive and extra works.
16. Ensure compliance with CBRE policies and procedures.
17. Collaborate with other supervisors & Contract Manager to ensure appropriate control/monitoring systems PPM, CM & Reactive works are used/shared to meet statutory, policy and contractual commitments.
18. Promote and maintain the core Values of CBRE.
19. Deliver effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to toolbox talks, briefings, correspondence, and ad-hoc reporting as appropriate.
