Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Technical Services Supervisor to join our team based at Edgware Community Hospital.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

The starting salary for this role is from £49,000 (depending on experience) plus an on-call allowance.

This is a mobile role covering North London.

Requirements for the role:
  • Qualifications – at least one of the following:
  • Specialist knowledge acquired through experience or qualification
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in related building services
  • Formal apprenticeship or craft training within building services
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
Additional Requirements:
  • Driving licence is essential
  • Comfortable using technological devices to log jobs
  • On-Call availability
  • Industry experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team, collaborating with other technical disciplines

Please note, DBS Checks & DVLA checks will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, technical guidance, regulations, and standards
  • Implement new standards and lead change for continuous improvement
  • Conduct quality audits, lead toolbox talks, and ensure safety compliance
  • Manage colleagues and tasks across disciplines as needed
  • Meet with customers and contractors to ensure standards are met and handle customer complaints appropriately
  • Supervise health, safety, and wellbeing of the building services team
  • Manage scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services, ensuring operational standards are maintained
  • Update Master Asset Data Base (CAFM) with change control
  • Maintain accurate site log books and conduct audits for compliance
  • On-Call allowance (rota dependent)
