A healthcare organization in Edgware is seeking a Technical Services Supervisor to ensure compliance and management of building services. This full-time role involves supervising teams, conducting audits, and requires a valid driving license. The starting salary is from £49,000 per year with additional benefits such as an on-call allowance and training opportunities.
The key function is to support NHS Property Services in delivering building services maintenance and repairs across the NHS to ensure buildings are maintained to the highest standards and to provide a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
Ensures compliance with all processes, procedures, and policies, including our Health & Safety Policy, HTMs, and SFG20. Implements new standards and leads change to manage continual improvement. Conducts quality audits and takes corrective actions when standards are not met. Leads health & safety compliance across teams and manages customer and contractor relationships to ensure standards are met and issues are escalated appropriately. Responsible for the supervision, health, safety, and wellbeing of the building services team.

We are seeking a Technical Services Supervisor for our team based at Edgware Community Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm) with a starting salary from £49,000 depending on experience, plus on-call allowance. The role covers North London and requires a driving licence, comfort with technology, on-call availability, and industry experience.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with NHSPS policies and regulations, conducting quality audits, managing colleagues and tasks across disciplines, meeting with customers and contractors, supervising the building services team, managing maintenance services, updating asset databases, and maintaining site records. Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or equivalent, specialist knowledge, formal apprenticeship or craft training, full UK driving licence.
Experience: managing maintenance teams, supervising activities, working within method statements, maintaining services to SFG20 standards.
Must have a valid driving licence, be comfortable with technology, and be available for on-call duties. DBS checks and DVLA checks are required.
