Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Services Representative to join our team in London. This key role involves assisting and supporting the development of new and existing business with customers by providing high-level technical expertise to maintain and enhance the Company’s technical reputation and standards of support. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting projects across the business within agreed timescales, maintaining technical expertise.
  • Assisting in the development of new and existing business while safeguarding technical integrity.
  • Providing technical support to customers in designated market areas.
  • Offering accurate technical advice through various communication channels.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints professionally and correctly.
  • Conducting product trials in a professional manner, ensuring proper planning and execution.
  • Preparing precise reports, literature, and specifications for customers.
  • Updating management systems with commitments, progress, and workloads, reviewing regularly with the Technical Service Manager.
  • Providing long-term support and supervision for global projects as needed.
  • Supporting team members and their projects.
  • Traveling to customer sites to resolve issues or queries as required.
  • Maintaining high technical standards in all work.

Qualifications and skills include an appropriate degree, technical background, experience in paint laboratories preferred, knowledge of Company products, familiarity with O&G/HVI segments and competitors, analytical skills, and willingness to travel extensively including overnight stays.
