Job summary

NG Bailey is seeking a Technical Services Manager to own technical service delivery at a premier UK venue. You will lead a live, client-facing engineering team to uphold engineering excellence, compliance, and superb customer experience across a complex live environment.

You will drive performance, develop the team, and identify innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and contract success, including managing major events from the heart of the venue.

Qualifications

• Experience managing M&E services in critical or complex environments.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Technical strength in electrical and/or mechanical building services.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, RAMS, PTW, SOPs, EOPs.
• Confident client engagement and relationship building.
• Experience identifying additional works and value-add opportunities.
• Calm under pressure in live/event environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site engineering team to deliver high-standard M&E services.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as technical authority on site for complex issues.
• Identify and deliver additional works and quotations.
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and safe systems of work.
• Support planning and delivery of major stadium events.
• Coach and develop the team with training plans.
• Maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
