Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination and technical delivery of M&E services from RIBA Stage 3 onward.
• Identify, flag, and resolve M&E design flaws or coordination issues early in the project lifecycle.
• Review and manage technical drawings, design outputs, and subcontractor submissions to ensure compliance with performance, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for technical integration.
• Ensure timely resolution of design-related issues during construction, including on-site technical challenges.
• Monitor quality of M&E installations and verify alignment with approved designs.
• Lead technical input into commissioning, handover, and post-completion reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation, design trackers, issue logs, and risk registers.
• Contribute to value engineering discussions while safeguarding standards and compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems, design standards, and regulations.
• Ability to identify and address design flaws during construction.
• Experience from RIBA Stage 3 to post-PC.
• Public sector project experience (education, healthcare, infrastructure) is highly desirable.
• Effective communicator with strong technical judgment and coordination skills.
