Overview

Branta Recruitment are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager with a strong heating and commercial gas bias to lead and develop a skilled maintenance team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This role will see you managing a team of up to 15 engineers, delivering high-quality maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial buildings. You’ll be the go-to technical lead, providing expertise, guidance, and support to ensure compliance, efficiency, and safe operation of all building services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of up to 15 engineers and technicians.
  • Provide hands-on technical support, with emphasis on heating and commercial gas systems.
  • Oversee maintenance operations across a range of commercial facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, H&S, and industry standards.
  • Support training, development, and performance management of the team.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to deliver service excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and best practice across operations.
