Job description

Skilled Careers is working with a well-respected M&E Contractor with a strong presence in the Residential Sector, who are looking for a Technical Services Manager to join their team for a large-scale testing facility project. As the Technical Services Manager, you will collaborate with the build team, acting as the services specialist responsible for managing the MEP contracts through to successful project completion.

The ideal candidate:

  • Ideally electrically biased; strong mechanically biased candidates will also be considered
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of residential projects is preferred
  • Experience managing a PCSA
  • Experience taking a project from Stage 2 to Stage 3
  • Experience leading design, managing the MEP supply chain, and conducting meetings
  • Involved with projects from pre-construction to commissioning stages

You should come from a large subcontractor or main contracting background, having managed projects of similar size, be comfortable managing subcontractors, and possess strong communication skills.

This role requires a proactive, motivated individual with a desire to learn and grow within an organization that values staff development and provides necessary training. The company is interested in considering employment on a temporary to permanent basis if mutually beneficial.

The position offers a competitive day rate and the opportunity to join a reputable, dynamic company with an excellent order book. The initial project is expected to last 12 months, with potential for future projects.
