Job summary

12 Recruitment are working with a leading Main Contractor to appoint a Technical Services Manager for an ultra-luxury residential project in Knightsbridge, London. You will own the technical services package through completion and then transition to another prestigious development.

This role requires strong MEP leadership, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and a hands-on approach to resolve technical issues on site. Immediate start and long-term opportunity in Central London.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager, MEP Manager, Building Services Manager or similar.
• Strong experience working for a Main Contractor.
• Previous experience delivering high-end residential or luxury residential projects.
• A strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Good knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination and commissioning.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-quality project environment.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to drive issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of all technical services and MEP works through the final stages of the project.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors, consultants and specialist contractors.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Identify and resolve technical issues affecting programme, quality and buildability.
• Manage technical submissions, RFIs, design changes and approvals.
• Coordinate MEP works with the wider construction programme.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure works are delivered in accordance with project requirements.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.
• Attend design, coordination and progress meetings.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and wider site management team.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and specialist supply chain.
• Ensure technical documentation and information is maintained through to completion.

12 Recruitment are currently working with a leading Main Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager to join their team on an ultra-luxury residential development in Knightsbridge, London.

The project is approaching its final stages, so this is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Services Manager with strong experience delivering high-end residential schemes to take ownership of the technical services package through completion.

Following completion of the Knightsbridge project, you will transition onto another ultra-luxury residential development in Belgravia, providing excellent continuity and long-term opportunity.

The Role

As Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the MEP and technical services delivery across the project, working closely with the construction team, consultants, specialist subcontractors and client representatives.

Key responsibilities include:
