Technical Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the operations team by delivering excellence in sustainable M&E, projects, and compliance. This role involves providing leadership, management, and development for a key client covering the London and Midlands regions.

The Vacancy

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a region within a large contract, overseeing supervisors and the engineering workforce delivering M&E services, compliance, and OF delivery. Supporting the management and delivery of extra works and M&E projects.
  2. Leading, driving, and developing direct reports, ensuring all mandatory training is completed and a robust succession plan is in place.
  3. Managing the supply chain while promoting safety and compliance standards, ensuring Avetta and Construction Line compliance. Conducting annual plan rights and performance reviews.
  4. Preparing and presenting MI reports to clients at KPI meetings, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring high client satisfaction. Developing relationships with consultants working for our client.

To succeed, you will need effective management skills, clear communication, diligence, and ownership promotion. You should have proven experience in delivering high-quality hard M&E services in a multi-site environment, with a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation. A technical background with a professional qualification and practical experience in trades such as Electrical, Mechanical, Gas, or F-Gas is required. Desirable qualifications include BIFM, IOSH, or NEBOSH certifications, and experience with computer PPM management systems (e.g., ELogbooks). Experience in the managing agent sector is preferred but not essential.
