Job summary

Eden Brown is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager (M&E) to lead coordination of building services on commercial fit-out projects in London. You will work with project teams to deliver on-time, high-quality M&E packages and coordinate with clients and consultants.

The role requires a Level 6 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in the industry, including at least 2 years in commercial fit-out, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing Mechanical & Electrical packages from design through to completion

• Identifying and resolving M&E coordination and technical issues
• Managing services installation, testing and commissioning
• Ensuring M&E works meet programme, quality and project requirements

Technical Services Manager - Commercial Fit-Out

Location: London

Salary: £80,000-£90,000 + Package

Job Type: Permanent

An established commercial fit-out contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager to join its London team.

This is an urgent requirement for a proven TSM / M&E professional with strong knowledge across both Mechanical and Electrical services and demonstrable experience delivering commercial fit-out projects.

The Role

Working alongside the project, design, commercial and construction teams, you will take responsibility for the coordination and delivery of building services across commercial fit-out projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing Mechanical & Electrical packages from design through to completion
• Coordinating M&E subcontractors, consultants and project teams
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and design information
• Identifying and resolving M&E coordination and technical issues
• Managing services installation, testing and commissioning
• Ensuring M&E works meet programme, quality and project requirements
• Working closely with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams
• Supporting projects through commissioning, handover and completion

Essential Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Level 6 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge and experience across both Mechanical & Electrical disciplines
• Minimum 10 years' industry experience
• At least 2 years' commercial fit-out experience
• Proven experience managing building services / M&E packages
• Strong understanding of design coordination, installation, commissioning and handover
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially aware, proactive and solutions focused
• Collaborative approach and comfortable working within a fast-paced fit-out environment

Salary & Package

£80,000-£90,000 + package
