Job description

We're currently working with a leading main contractor to recruit a Technical Services Manager for a high-profile £15m commercial development in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TSM to play a key role in delivering a complex and fast-paced project from the ground up.

Responsibilities

As Technical Services Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all building services (MEP) on-site, ensuring installations are coordinated, compliant, and delivered to programme. You'll work closely with the design team, subcontractors, and project management to maintain quality and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing all technical services (mechanical and electrical) on the project
2. Coordinating with the design and delivery teams to ensure MEP integration
3. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals
4. Overseeing on-site services installation and progress reporting
5. Ensuring health & safety, quality assurance, and commissioning standards are met
6. Liaising with subcontractors and consultants to resolve issues quickly and effectively

Candidate requirements

1. Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager or similar MEP-focused role
2. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
3. Background working on commercial or mixed-use developments
4. Able to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure
5. Available for a prompt start
