Job description

TSM needed - Fit Out projects - £10m+

Company: Specialising in Design & Build commercial interiors

Role: Technical Services Manager

Duties may include:
  1. To pro-actively monitor Health & Safety processes and behaviours ensuring compliance with safety management systems
  2. Take ownership for M&E design, procurement and site delivery on a significant project.
  3. To drive a zero defect culture and approach to handover.
  4. To interrogate the design for completeness and quality and identify any value engineering opportunities at all design stages.
  5. To provide guidance in the production of the project programmes.
  6. To provide effective and timely assistance, advice and support during the project, and oversee the project teams responsible for producing it.
  7. To contribute to the regular Project Report, and Project Meetings where appropriate.
  8. To attend, and chair where appropriate, meetings with the Client, the designers, specialist contractors and other team members.
  9. To ensure best practice and continuous improvement in divisional & project processes.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. MUST have experience with large Fit out schemes, in the region of £10m - £20m
  2. CSCS Card
  3. Have a good understanding of appropriate M&E and services legislation
  4. Experience working on design and build fit-out projects
  5. A good work ethic and strong interpersonal skills - Must be able to hit the ground running!
