Job Opportunity: Technical Engineering Manager

Join ISS, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, as we develop our Technical Engineering team at a key client's 'Campus Site' in Northampton. This site is a 'Mission Critical' facility for a major global corporate banking organization, featuring a wide range of M&E systems, including LV & HV infrastructure and modern HVAC systems.

The site is expanding, with ongoing refurbishments and construction projects, supporting a large workforce of approximately 2000 personnel. The campus offers leisure facilities and amenities in a scenic lakeside setting, making it a complex and dynamic engineering environment.

Role Overview

Working alongside the Engineering Manager, Supervisors, and both Day and Shift Engineering teams, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing technical support across the site, reviewing SOPs, EOPs, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  2. Acting as a liaison between the BAU team and project teams, representing the client in project meetings to ensure seamless integration with site operations.

This role offers a broad remit to elevate engineering delivery, working with stakeholders to protect interests and promote best practices. There are also excellent long-term development opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will be well-qualified Technical Managers with experience in the Built Environment sector, familiar with corporate or high-pressure facilities, and comfortable working through periods of transformation.
