A prestigious art institution in London is seeking a Making Technical Coordinator to lead and support technical teams across multiple spaces. This full-time role will involve managing projects, coordinating services, and aiding students and staff in technical solutions. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, project management experience, and effective communication abilities. We are looking for an experienced, adaptable, dynamic, highly motivated and outcome-focused person to work with our technical support team at the Royal College of Art. Your teams deliver a wide variety of making and digital making activities across campuses. These are areas where students are sketch making, assembling, experimenting and developing physical 3D concepts. A key part of this role is the growth of bench based making areas that allow students to explore and develop work within the experimental stages of their research. This is a full time role to cover maternity leave for up to a year from February 2026.
