Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our Technical Services department in the United Kingdom. As a leading manufacturer of entertainment technology, we are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our clients through our cutting-edge products. The Technical Service Specialist will play a vital role in troubleshooting, repairing, and providing technical support for our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming repairs
  • Provide troubleshooting and repair for all company products
  • Assess whether a product can be repaired or needs replacement
  • Complete paperwork related to repairs and shipments
  • Coordinate with TS Admin for RMA returns
  • Offer technical support via phone and email
  • Diagnose technical issues accurately
  • Ensure repairs are completed within the agreed timeframe
  • Communicate with customers about progress and document follow-up actions
  • Guide customers on software upgrades
  • Configure new equipment for production
  • Implement Engineering Change Orders on warehoused goods as needed
  • Support trade shows, including pre-show setup and attendance
  • Manage demo and loaner equipment logistics
  • Report quality and service issues
  • Train internal staff, external technicians, and customers on product repairs
  • Prepare and deliver training workshops
  • Assist in product testing for R&D
  • Provide field technical support occasionally
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Technical degree in Electronics or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in electronic repair preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within Europe occasionally
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of PCB, electronics, and mechanical assembly preferred
  • Ability to read schematics and prints
  • Manual dexterity and soldering skills
  • Proficiency with hand tools, small power tools, and test equipment
  • Understanding of wiring regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The Technical Service Specialist will troubleshoot, repair, and support our products through various channels, including paperwork, technical support, trade shows, and training sessions.
