Job summary

Sphere Digital Recruitment Group is seeking a hands-on Technical SEO Manager in Manchester to lead technical SEO delivery across a portfolio of clients. You will combine strong technical SEO expertise with confident client and account management.

You will cover audits, migrations, crawlability, schema, JavaScript rendering, international SEO and performance monitoring, while collaborating with account teams and leveraging AI-driven tools to improve results.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on Technical SEO experience in an agency or consultancy.
Experience managing technical SEO across multiple client accounts.
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with audits, migrations and complex websites.
Able to translate technical issues into clear commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO audits, health checks and migrations for client sites.
Improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture and Core Web Vitals.
Develop schema and structured data strategies and oversee JavaScript rendering tasks.
Monitor organic performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Present technical recommendations and insights to clients and account teams.
Collaborate with other digital specialists and explore AI/ emerging search technologies.
