Job summary

Sphere Digital Recruitment Group seeks a Technical SEO Manager in Manchester to lead hands-on technical SEO across a portfolio of clients. You will deliver technical strategies that improve organic performance and drive commercial results, while coordinating with account teams and other digital specialists.

The role covers audits, migrations, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema, JS rendering, international SEO, and performance monitoring. Strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on Technical SEO experience, preferably in an agency or consultancy.
Experience managing technical SEO across multiple client accounts.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with audits, migrations and complex websites.
Knowledge of SEO tooling: Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, Looker Studio.

Responsibilities

Perform technical SEO audits, health checks and migrations.
Improve crawlability, indexation and site architecture.
Optimise Core Web Vitals and site performance.
Implement schema and structured data.
Oversee JS rendering and technical diagnostics.
Develop and execute international SEO strategies.
Analyze server logs and crawl data.
Present recommendations and performance insights to clients.
