Working within the framework set by the SEO and Content Manager, the Technical SEO Lead plays a key role in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing technical solutions to enhance AQA's online presence.

Landscape:

Positioned within the Web Operations Team, the Technical SEO Lead is responsible for the technical execution of SEO strategies. This role demands a thorough understanding of search engine algorithms, website architecture, and analytics tools. Collaboration with the SEO & Content Manager and other team members is vital to align technical SEO initiatives with overall content and marketing strategies.

The Web Operations Team collaborates with the Marketing Propositions & Delivery team, Marketing Operations Team, and the Customer Training & Events Team.

Activities:

1. Technical SEO Implementation: Focus on technical SEO elements such as site architecture and indexing. Implement solutions to improve site performance and search visibility.
2. Web Analytics and Data Analysis: Analyze website data to refine SEO strategies. Use analytics tools to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
3. Collaboration and Strategy Alignment: Work within the SEO & Content Manager's framework to enhance SEO efforts. Collaborate with marketing and web development teams for cohesive strategy execution.
4. Continuous Improvement and Reporting: Keep up with the latest trends in technical SEO and web analytics. Provide regular reports on SEO performance and insights derived from web analytics.
