Summary

The Technical SEO Lead at AQA specializes in the technical aspects of SEO and web analytics. This role is crucial for analyzing website data to inform and refine SEO strategies, ensuring optimal site performance and search visibility. Working within the framework established by the SEO and Content Manager, the Technical SEO Lead identifies opportunities for improvement and implements technical solutions to enhance AQA's online presence.

Landscape:

Positioned within the Web Operations Team, the Technical SEO Lead is key to executing SEO strategies technically. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, website architecture, and analytics tools. Collaboration with the SEO & Content Manager and other teams ensures alignment with overall content and marketing strategies.

The Web Operations Team collaborates with the Marketing Propositions & Delivery team, Marketing Operations Team, and the Customer Training & Events Team.

Activities:

  1. Technical SEO Implementation: Focus on site architecture, indexing, and implementing technical solutions to improve site performance and visibility.
  2. Web Analytics and Data Analysis: Analyze website data to inform SEO strategies, using analytics tools to track performance and identify improvement areas.
  3. Collaboration and Strategy Alignment: Work within the framework provided by the SEO & Content Manager and collaborate with marketing and web development teams.
  4. Continuous Improvement and Reporting: Keep updated with the latest trends and provide regular reports on SEO performance and insights.
