Location: Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Halifax, Edinburgh.
Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

About the role

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Security Specialist include assessing systems against internal security frameworks and baseline build requirements, such as:

• Using DevOps tools to automate the review and approval of security artifacts
• Working with Cloud Security Engineers to drive consistent reuse of security artifacts
• Configuring policies on Cloud Security portals
• Understanding the impact of technology roadmaps on security artifacts (e.g., patterns)
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing key Cyber Security Services, including procedures, processes, and documentation

• Self-sufficient, eager to learn and deliver
• Outcome-focused, ensuring details meet goals
• Broad understanding of Cyber Security domains and Cloud Security (GCP, Azure)
• Hands-on technical experience and ability to read code
• Developer experience is advantageous
• Championing secure-by-design principles across LBG
• Passionate about automating repetitive tasks
• Familiar with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes technologies
