DP World is currently recruiting for a Technical Security Manager based in the UK. The role involves providing expert support and guidance on security system infrastructure during bids, RFQ, and launch projects. You will be involved in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for both BAU and new launch projects across the UK and Europe.

This is a remote role with the expectation of travel across sites in the UK and Europe as needed.

About the role:
  • Provide technical security expertise and support for new security system requirements in BAU/Ops and during bids, RFQs, projects, and launches.
  • Manage all aspects of project management for assigned security solutions, ensuring compliant delivery and successful change management.
  • Support development, rollout, and compliance with group and regional security standards, including TAPA and ISPS.
  • Lead or support the project management of security system changes, including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to ensure successful purchasing and value engineering of security systems.
  • Define specifications for equipment and solutions in cooperation with relevant teams.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in security, including AI, and recommend best practices.
  • Support security training programs and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Conduct and support compliance audits, including external standards like TAPA, TISAX, AEO, and ISO 28000.
  • Coordinate with enforcement and public authorities during security investigations and incidents.
  • Manage purchase orders, payments, risk assessments, and maintain a database of security systems.
  • Ensure security systems maintenance contracts are in place and perform periodic audits.
  • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to align physical and cyber security operations.
  • Develop and deliver regional security training programs.
Your key skills:
