If so, we want you to join our team as a Technical Security Design Consultant!

As a key member of our team, you will work directly with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, innovative security solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and influence the design and implementation of complex security systems across a wide range of projects, supporting global clients in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of security design projects, under the oversight of the Security Design Manager.
  • Lead the creation of detailed design documents, including Scope of Work (SoW) and associated drawings (Spots and Dots), to ensure project clarity and execution.
  • Develop comprehensive security specifications and programming matrices, tailored to meet client needs and project requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and reviews to capture requirements and inform design decisions.
  • Work closely with Security Project Managers and Design Managers on strategic projects, ensuring smooth coordination and high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure robust document control processes for all design materials, ensuring consistency, compliance, and timely updates.
  • Provide detailed project tracking reports to monitor design delivery metrics and maintain visibility of project progress.
  • Take ownership of or provide support on security consultancy services, ensuring delivery aligns with client requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Facilitate client meetings and workshops, presenting technical and strategic information in clear, concise reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Apply risk management methodologies to assess and mitigate security risks across projects.
  • Maintain a strong client focus, managing expectations and providing regular updates to senior project owners.
  • Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively with a diverse team.
  • Travel as required to project sites, ensuring accurate assessments and support for project execution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in designing IP video and access-controlled enterprise security systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and an understanding of BIM is essential. Strong electrical aptitude and ability to read schematics and drawings.
  • Security Expertise: Experience in physical security design, including HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) measures, site hardening, and integration with systems like Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, and Milestone.
  • Education: A 3rd level education in electronics or a related field is highly desirable.

  • Software Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Work Ethic: Strong focus on compliance, high standards of quality delivery, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Sector Expertise: Experience working in the Data Centre vertical or a similar high-security environment is a plus.

Internal and External Relationships:

  • Internal: Collaborate with internal business stakeholders, including senior leadership and the sales team, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • External: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, attending and contributing to external meetings to provide expert guidance and ensure client satisfaction.

What We Offer:

  • A dynamic and collaborative work environment where your expertise will make a direct impact.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression within a leading global security solutions provider.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Occasional travel to exciting, cutting-edge project sites across the EMEA region.
