Job Description:

One of the market leading speciality chemical distributors to the personal care, pharmaceutical and chemicals industries is currently hiring for an Internal Sales Representative.

Are you a science graduate and love chatting to people, talking business, driving processes, building relationships?

Maybe you're fresh from university with a science degree, with some sales, bar work or customer service experience?

Or perhaps you have a few years experience in sales, marketing or account management, post graduation?

The role is vacant due to a long-term member retiring from a long career with the business, and offers an excellent opportunity to join a values-driven team with a warm client base, known for their excellent customer service and providing some of the very best products on the market.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with R&D and technical marketing teams regarding marketing-leading raw material chemical products
• Provide high-quality customer service, maintaining and increasing business with a defined set of customers within the cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, and wider chemical industries.
• Support the external sales team by assisting with their customers when they are out of office
• Promote and sell products to customers
• Calculate quotes and send to customers, follow up on samples/quotes/projects, and maintain a healthy project pipeline
• Develop and nurture relationships, always looking to build rapport
• Conduct and record market analysis
• This role is primarily internal with occasional travel for customer meetings and industry events when appropriate
• Join a highly collaborative, supportive sales team
