About Our Client

Our client is a long-established leader in the engineering solutions sector, with over four decades of global experience designing and manufacturing high-performance portable machining tools and fabrication accessories. Renowned for their innovation, industry expertise, and quality, they serve a broad range of sectors across the UK and worldwide.

The Role

We're currently supporting our client in finding a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their UK team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong technical sales background who enjoys being on the road, building meaningful customer relationships, and delivering real value through tailored engineering solutions.

Based out of the company's UK headquarters in Oxfordshire, you'll spend most of your time travelling nationwide to manage and develop customer accounts. When not on the road, you'll be expected in the office, with the flexibility to work from home considered after your probation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging technical and sales presentations and product demonstrations

  • Work closely with the Sales & Technical Manager to grow new and existing accounts

  • Generate leads, negotiate pricing, and manage the full sales cycle

  • Provide post-sales support, including installation queries and product troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and provide technical guidance as needed

  • Hit individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals

  • Deliver training on technical products to non-technical colleagues

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in technical sales and customer account management

  • Strong knowledge of engineering, welding, or fabrication (NVQ qualifications are desirable but not essential)

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information clearly

  • A solutions-driven approach with a strong commercial mindset

  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings

  • Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays (some international travel may be required)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally some ERP/CRM system experience (training provided)

  • Full UK driving licence (clean)

Why This Role?

This is a standout opportunity to join a market leader where your ideas and expertise will be truly valued. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own territory, the support of a collaborative technical team, and the chance to work with innovative products in a thriving sector.
