We’re looking for a commercially driven and passionate Technical Sales Manager to take the lead on our Young Animal Feed (YAF) portfolio. In this pivotal role, you’ll combine technical insight with commercial expertise to drive innovation in calf nutrition, boost local sales performance championing sustainable animal production.

You’ll have full ownership of the YAF business in GB, one of the most strategic areas of our Ruminant segment and lead a dedicated, high-impact technical team. About The Role:


Responsibilities:

Lead the technical and commercial strategy for the YAF portfolio in GB

Drive sales performance, achieving profit and volume targets in collaboration with the local sales team

Manage and develop the YAF technical team fostering engagement and performance.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective portfolio and pricing management

Launch and promote product innovations, and expand our own label offering

Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.

Act as a local leader within the wider ECA (Europe & Central Asia) YAF strategy team

Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in animal nutrition, technical sales, or product management.

Strong knowledge of calf nutrition and the GB milk replacer market.

Proven ability to manage product portfolios, pricing, and campaigns.

Previous line management experience is highly desirable

Soft skills like strong communicator with a commercial mindset, analytical acumen, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Travel: Regular travel across GB, especially to Ashbourne and customer sites (60-80%)
