Job Description:

The Business Development Manager role is based in Yorkshire, covering areas such as Yorkshire, Liverpool, and Manchester. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, ideally within the packaging equipment industry.

• Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads, qualify opportunities based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Cultivate relationships with new clients by understanding their requirements and offering tailored packaging solutions.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify industry trends, challenges, and growth opportunities. Analyze market data and competitor activity to develop market penetration strategies. Demonstrate product knowledge to customers.

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role with experience in relevant products.

Remuneration:

• £40K plus up to £2k-£3k commission quarterly.
• Company car or van.
• Life Insurance (4x salary).
• National travel.
• Auto-enrollment pension.
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Private Medical after 2 years.
• Approximately 45-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with an expectation of working beyond hours for motivated salespeople.
• Christmas shutdown.
