Brief Description

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the water business within the assigned geographical territory. The role requires collaboration across group companies to maximize opportunities within Tricel’s full product portfolio, aligned with business strategy and established sales processes.

The role involves travel across the territory at least 4 days per week, conducting customer meetings, site visits, and prospecting for new opportunities. The manager will work alongside internal sales estimators to achieve set sales targets and KPIs.

Location:

Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Enhance Tricel’s profile within the area to ensure it is the customer’s first choice.
  2. Present, promote, and sell the Tricel product and service portfolio to maximize sales opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  4. Conduct site surveys to generate quotations and convert these into orders.
  5. Provide quotations based on technical specifications.
  6. Negotiate prices within the set pricing structure to maintain margins.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  8. Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development programs.
  9. Manage weekly travel plans efficiently.
  10. Accurately input data into the CRM system and produce timely reports.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs.
