A leading supplier in microscopy is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for electron microscopy instruments based in England to develop sales and manage accounts in both Academia and Industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales, particularly in electron microscopy, and possess strong communication skills. This leading equipment provider has seen consistent growth over the past 5 years and now wishes to further bolster its UK Sales team. As an investor in staff, they provide the one-to-one support and training needed to progress a long-term career within their organisation. Now recruiting for a fast-growing product category, my client wishes to attract a UK Technical Sales Manager / Sales Specialist to focus on developing customers for their Electron Microscopy Instruments. Recognised for service delivery and offering advanced benchtop and floor-standing equipment, they pride themselves on their detailed attention to customers\\' needs and dedication to the highest standards of performance and quality.
Following the completion of your induction, you will be responsible for:
The successful candidate MUST possess experience and knowledge of electron microscopy. This will ideally be in a technical sales capacity; however, the client is willing to consider a technical individual who demonstrates the sales ability and personality to secure new business in both industry and academia. An Electron Microscopy Applications Engineer or Product Specialist with the personality to transition into a technical commercial role would be considered.
An education within a scientific or engineering field such as Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, or Material Science would be highly advantageous, but not essential, should somebody possess proven sales success within the electron microscopy market.
