Job summary

You will advise on Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV charging, conduct site surveys, and prepare technical proposals while guiding customers through the sales journey from enquiry to installation.

Technical Sales Manager - Renewable Energy

The Role

As Technical Sales Manager, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with customers to understand their energy requirements and design tailored renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting customer consultations and site surveys.
• Assessing customer energy usage and requirements.
• Designing Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging systems.
• Preparing technical proposals, system designs and quotations.
• Presenting and explaining renewable energy solutions to customers.
• Providing accurate technical advice and recommendations.
• Supporting customers throughout the sales process from enquiry through to installation.
• Working closely with installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Promoting the benefits of premium renewable energy technologies.
• Maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.

About You

Particularly interested in experienced electricians and renewable energy professionals who are looking to transition from installation work into a customer-facing technical sales role.

You will ideally have practical experience in:

• Solar PV systems.

Previous sales experience is advantageous but is not essential. We are more interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
