We have an excellent opportunity for an Internal Technical Sales Executive to join the team at one of the UK's leading engineering companies based in Warrington.

About the role

As an Internal Technical Sales Executive, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing quotations and supporting information as required
  • Developing good product knowledge to answer customer questions
  • Scheduling follow-ups of customer contact, quotes, etc.
  • Achieving targets for quotes, contact, sales won, upselling
  • Identifying and developing relationships with potential clients
  • Maintaining good relationships with existing clients
  • Sharing relevant industry/sector information with the team
  • Referring leads and opportunities to the dealer network and monitoring outcomes
  • Creating and maintaining customer and quotation records in the CRM database
  • Utilizing channels to create sales opportunities
  • CRM order processing and sales order management
  • Assisting in the organization of exhibitions
About you

To succeed as an Internal Technical Sales Executive, you should have:

  • Experience in technical sales
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Good organization, time management, and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • A technical background is preferred
  • Previous experience or strong interest in plant/machinery is essential
