About the Team:

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support Dassault Systèmes' Manufacturing Science and Technology business in the Pharmaceutical industry across EMEA. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical experience in a commercial environment.

Pharmaceutical companies need to maximize efficiency and produce high-quality, innovative therapeutics at reduced costs. They rely on a strong value network to adapt facilities and adopt new manufacturing methods to deliver treatments worldwide. Many still depend on paper-based communication and procedures, presenting opportunities to optimize technology transfer costs, reduce risks, address regulatory constraints, and improve operational performance. Dassault Systèmes enables companies to enhance agility and performance in producing high-quality medicines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and refine customer’s critical business issues to strategically position our manufacturing solutions against competitors.
  • Manage technical software evaluations, workshops, and demonstrations.
  • Lead discussions on commercial manufacturing strategies, including implications of our solutions on the shop floor.
  • Support business development activities, including outreach and messaging strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders, from users to C-level executives.
  • Respond to RFI and RFP requests effectively.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
  • BS, MSc, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Pharmaceutical, or related fields.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) is required.
  • Experience selling enterprise software via a structured, value-based sales process is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is essential; German and/or French skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30%, including overnight and international trips.

Base pay is part of the Total Rewards package, with most sales roles eligible for commissions and many non-sales roles for annual bonuses. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance; a pension plan; and over 25 paid holidays annually.
