Job description

A global market leader providing automation products and solutions is seeking a driven Technical Sales Engineer to cover the South-East and Midlands region.

My client is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) who are renowned in their field, covering industries such as automotive, food, beverage, packaging and life sciences. They offer extensive product training and are seeking an individual with drive and enthusiasm to succeed, who has sold automation products, valves, sensors, actuators, pneumatics or similar products previously.

The Package:

Salary - £40,000-£46,000 (DOE)
Commission Scheme

The Role:

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Account management. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets. Maintain good working relationships with distributor sales partners. Maintain accurate records of sales activities using a CRM system.

Requirements:

Must have previous experience working as a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Specialist, Product Manager, Sales Manager or similar. Will have previous experience selling automation products, pneumatics, valves or similar. A technical engineering qualification would be advantageous.
