If you have a background in selling technical products to the construction, building maintenance sectors, then this could be be the role for you! As the new Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and prospecting for new business.

Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Engineer:

• Develop and sell products to new and existing customers
• Maintain a technical understanding of products and services
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Arrange and participate in sales meetings
• Support client requirements
• Contribute to marketing strategies

To be successful as a Technical Sales Engineer:

• Hold a full UK Driving License
• Possess a degree or equivalent in management, sales, engineering, or similar
• Experience in sales within the construction, hoist, lifting, or building maintenance industries is preferred but not essential
• Technical background with an interest in construction; training will be provided for postgraduates
• Effective communication skills
• IT literate
• Knowledge of lifting gear, gantry cranes, overhead cranes, construction hoists, or facade access equipment is advantageous

You may have worked as a Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Rep, Area Sales Rep, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Executive, or Technical Engineer seeking progression into sales.
