About the Role

Due to ongoing growth, our well-established client is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with clear career progression paths.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate estimates and quotations within required deadlines.
  • Support and collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers to understand their needs.
  • Occasionally visit sites and customer facilities for enquiries or project discussions.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions alongside the sales team.
  • Participate in relevant training and development activities.
  • Utilize CAD drawing and 3D modelling skills where applicable (advantageous but not essential).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Director.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience estimating in an engineering or fabrication environment.
  • Background in technical sales and customer service.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to develop accurate quotations.
  • Personable, professional, and articulate communicator.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles and processes.
  • Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with CAD drawing and 3D modelling is a plus.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £32,000 per annum.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
  • Full-time, Permanent position.
