About the Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer within the UK Aftermarket Operations Repair Group, you will act as the primary liaison between our repair group and customers. Your primary responsibilities include managing client relationships, coordinating project activities, developing quotations, tracking repair jobs, and resolving technical issues. This position involves regular client interactions, both locally and occasionally overseas, to ensure exceptional service and maintain NOV as the preferred supplier for repair services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customers
  • Coordinate repair projects, especially those involving multiple equipment items
  • Generate and revise quotations, work scopes, and quality plans
  • Conduct contract reviews and track repair progress
  • Regularly update customers on job status, costs, and technical issues
  • Maintain ERP systems and compliance records
  • Address customer complaints and facilitate resolutions
  • Work with internal teams to meet customer requirements and deadlines
  • Promote business through client engagement and identifying new opportunities
  • Comply with NOV’s Quality Management and HSE Systems

Qualifications & Skills

  • GCSE Level 3 or equivalent relevant business qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Understanding of business and technical documentation
