Technical Sales Engineer

Are you an experienced Technical Sales Engineer? Do you want to work for a well-established business? Do you want career progression? If so, APPLY NOW!

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our well-established client. The Technical Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Manager and work as part of the Sales Team.

Job Duties:
  • Assessing enquiries and reviewing associated specifications.
  • Assisting in the design of custom-engineered products.
  • Supporting process and mechanical design.
  • Creating P&ID drawings when required.
  • Producing technical data sheets.
  • Estimating costs for proposals.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms to align with both client and company requirements.
  • Preparing quotations and associated documentation.
  • Attending bid clarification meetings.
  • Identifying new clients who would benefit from company products and services, while maximizing opportunities with existing clients.
  • Providing technical and process support to the sales team.
  • Visiting clients and attending exhibitions (some travel and overnight stays may be required).
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth contract handovers.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (BEng or MEng).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in high-pressure situations.
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen.

Working hours: Flexible working arrangements.
