Location: West Midlands
Salary: £35,000 + uncapped commission

Amazing opportunity for an audio visual specialist to join this busy team and sell across a wide range of technical services including audio, video and lighting.

The company
This is a superb role working within the technical services department for large scale events providing rigging, audio visual and other support services for a range of huge exhibitions and trade shows. The team work with a range of organisers for a host of shows and services and are now expanding with the hire of a Technical Sales Consultant dedicated to audio visual services.

The role
This is a varied role where you will take a range of enquiries from event organisers and be ultimately responsible for upselling services and maximising revenue for the team. Taking the requirements, you will advise on AV and technical services and be the lynchpin between the client and the AV suppliers to maximise sales and profitability on projects. Once sold you will also be on-site to oversee smooth installation of AV, rigging etc across exhibition halls, conference areas and stands.

About you
We are seeking a highly technical candidate with experience in sales and exhibitions/live events. There is no proactive sales or cold calling in the role; however, we would expect a commercial approach and the desire to secure business for the team. Flexibility to work across weekends will be needed, and hours are annualised so time off is given in quieter periods.
