Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking a Technical Sales Advisor based in Elland, near Halifax, to support customers through their project journey—from reviewing drawings to quoting and recommending water management solutions.

You will build strong relationships, deliver excellent service and contribute to growth plans within Marshalls Water Management. Hybrid working, with opportunities to develop technical and commercial skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in water management, drainage or civils sector.
• Background in sales, customer service or technical sales support.
• Knowledge of precast concrete products or related construction environment.
• Ability to interpret drawings and construction specifications, translating them into practical customer solutions and quotations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work across customers, commercial teams and technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, commercially-minded approach with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support customers through their project journey, from reviewing drawings to preparing quotations and recommending effective water management solutions.
• Build strong relationships and deliver excellent service to win business and strengthen customer partnerships.
• Support the Water Management team's ambitious growth plans and collaborate with commercial and technical stakeholders.
