Trouw Nutrition, part of Nutreco, is seeking a Technical Ruminant Account Manager in the UK to combine technical knowledge with account management. You will help customers achieve business goals through innovative nutritional solutions and trusted partnerships.

You will develop account plans, provide technical advice across ruminant nutrition and related areas, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers and drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales objectives and grow customer partnerships.
• Provide technical advice on ruminant nutrition, animal husbandry, feed legislation and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable sales growth.
• Support launch and promotion of mineral premixes, feed additives, calf milk replacers, animal health products and nutrition services.
• Deliver customer training, technical seminars and on-farm support activities.
• Collaborate with sales, technical and management colleagues for excellent customer outcomes.

What you’ll do

As a Technical Ruminant Account Manager, you'll combine technical expertise with commercial support to help customers achieve their business goals.

• Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales objectives and grow customer partnerships.
• Provide technical advice across ruminant nutrition, animal husbandry, feed legislation, quality standards and laboratory services.
• Identify commercial opportunities and convert them into sustainable sales growth.
• Support the launch and promotion of mineral premixes, feed additives, calf milk replacers, animal health products and nutritional services.
• Deliver customer training, technical seminars and on-farm support activities.
• Collaborate closely with sales, technical and management colleagues to ensure excellent customer outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for someone who is ready to Own this role and combine technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset. You'll be passionate about building customer relationships, delivering value-based solutions and helping customers succeed. You'll also bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Science, Animal Nutrition or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ruminant nutrition and the wider animal nutrition industry.
• Experience in sales, account management or customer-facing roles within a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, results-focused approach with strong negotiation and planning abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers at all levels.
