Technical Quotation Engineer – Hertfordshire – Up to £50,000

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist or CNC Programmer looking for a move away from the shop floor? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading precision engineering business in Hertfordshire as a Technical Quotation Engineer where you will be the subject matter expert of manufacturing methods and costings.

This is your chance to combine your CNC knowledge with commercial responsibility. You'll be involved in the quoting process, assessing jobs, identifying machining methods, and calculating timings, materials, and costs. They manufacture for various industries including robotic, defence and medical, so no two jobs will be the same.

What You\'ll Be Doing:
  • Reviewing enquirers and producing accurate costings and quotations
  • Identifying the best machining processes, materials, and tooling for each component
  • Estimating cycle times and costs
  • Liaising with sales, engineering and production teams to ensure capabilities align with customer requirements
