Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior technical role within high care/high risk food manufacturing.
• Level 4 HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
• Proven leadership skills with experience developing and leading a team.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong literacy.
• Experience with scale-up and launch of multi-component products.
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects on time.
• Experience in fast-paced food environments; strong food knowledge; numerate and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the technical team to maintain current knowledge and address issues.
• Understand and apply HACCP requirements; assess risks before new processes or materials.
• Lead technical audits and manage responses to non-conformances.
• Collaborate with operations to foster a culture of food safety and quality.
• Promote technical best practices to ensure legal compliance and competitive advantage.
• Drive exemplary food safety and quality through robust quality management systems.
• Act as primary technical contact for customers, suppliers, and third parties.
• Work with the buying team to develop a robust supply chain.
• Build relationships with customers' technical representatives to maintain confidence in standards.
• Plan and execute technical projects as part of continuous improvement.
• Challenge and improve hygiene programs across the business.
