Job Title: Technical Quality Document Manager

Location: Plymouth, Devon + Hybrid Working Arrangements

Compensation: £32,541 + Benefits

The role

As a Technical Quality Document Manager, you will:

  • Drive the future of MOD ship and submarine programmes within the Major Infrastructure Projects (MIP) Business Unit at Devonport.
  • Participate in delivering cutting-edge facility development, including design, construction, and commissioning of docking and berthing facilities for Astute Class submarine maintenance.

Your daily responsibilities include managing configuration and due process activities for Major Infrastructure Projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency, and administering relevant tools and systems.

  • Oversee document package delivery, ensuring compliance and issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation workflow in Autodesk Vault, including Verification Process administration.
  • Ensure accurate creation, storage, and archiving of items without loss.
  • Support Configuration Engineers with Change Requests, Action Plans, and Technical Queries.
  • This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with flexibility.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national capable of obtaining and maintaining Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance. Many roles are subject to national security and trade restrictions. Further details are available at UK Security Vetting.
