Contract | 6 month FTC with possibility to become permanent. Full time Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, some flexibility required during peak seasons

We’re looking for someone to join us as a Quality & Technical Assistant. The successful applicant will report directly into the Technical Manager and should be ready to take on the challenge of bringing the very best gelato to the masses.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Quality & Technical | Assess and record safety and quality control procedures across the site, ensuring all checks are meticulously recorded. Complete internal audits according to schedule, track corrective/preventative actions and trend data over time. Complete raw material checks against specifications, raise non-conformances and coordinate the team in a timely manner.
Strategy & planning | Plan, manage and record weekly taste panels and trend data. Plan and manage the microbiological testing schedule including: ATP swabbing, finished product testing, allergen testing, environmental swabs etc. Plan and manage chemical testing schedule including: allergen swabbing, weekly pH water testing etc. Complete weight and label checks on products to ensure they are within specification. Assist in traceability tests.
BRC & SALSA| Assisting in third-party audits such as SALSA and BRC.
