Job Description:

What will you be doing?

  • Be responsible for a new development project as a purchasing engineer in the hydraulic radial piston motor area.
  • Participate in developing Make and/or Buy strategies and sourcing decisions in an international procurement market.
  • Ensure on-time qualification of suppliers, maintain quality, achieve target costs, and consider the investment budget.
  • Manage project risks from component development to serial production within Purchasing.
  • Coordinate sampling scope with suppliers and technical departments during qualification.
  • Act as the interface between the business unit, material-related purchasing, and suppliers; represent the purchasing department in product development and price reduction initiatives.
Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or similar (preferable).
  • Experience in purchasing, project management, and target costing.
  • Experience with global supply chains, standards, and processes for main commodities (casting, machining, forging).
  • Strong communication skills across all levels and functions internationally.
  • Agile, team-oriented, communicative, independent, structured, and assertive.
