Job summary

Sembcorp is seeking a Technical Manager based in Wilton, Teesside, to lead early-stage technical proposals for energy transition projects. The role focuses on delivering credible technical inputs from initial enquiry through to FEED, interfacing with BD and Commercial to craft compelling offers and secure FEED progression.

Qualifications

• Proven track-record of delivering concept / pre-FEED / FEED solutions for OSBL and ISBL in Brownfield and Greenfield developments.
• Strong self-motivation, flexible, and able to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines.
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and Projects to meet the demands of stakeholders.
• Excellent communications skills to present to stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
• Ability to lead engineering teams to deliver technical solutions as part of a larger Proposal team.
• Contract technical content drafting & implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with Operators, and develop technical inputs and documents, from initial enquiry through to FID.
• Ensure that technical requirements are clearly established early in the enquiry process to support Bid decisions, enabling proper resource allocation.
• Manage agile multi-discipline engineering teams to develop credible technical solutions for OSBL/ISBL within Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
• Manage third parties to ensure delivery of engineering and other consultancy services.
• Work with Business Development, Commercial and Engineering to develop win strategies and compelling proposal solutions for FEED progression.
• Support Commercial Proposals in build-up of project cost estimates, revenue and forecasts.
