Here we play a crucial role in supporting customers facing financial difficulties and requiring our bank's assistance. At Financial Support, we are undergoing a transformative phase, replacing older technologies with new digital solutions to better serve our customers and enhance their experience. As an IT Technical Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in this transformation, managing multiple products and services to serve both our customers and the bank's needs.

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements for success in this role:

  1. Demonstrable experience in delivering complex IT projects around transformation & migration activities
  2. Ability to understand IT architecture, software development methodologies, and integration frameworks
  3. Knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, and related services and models, along with software development methodologies and IT infrastructure
  4. Effective project management strategies; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects
  5. Understanding the importance of inter-team collaboration to achieve business results; ability to lead cross-functional teams
  6. Knowledge of agile methodologies; ability to apply agile approaches in software development & CI/CD practices

It would also be nice if you have:

  1. Pragmatic and determined to identify relevant teams, stakeholders, and technology stacks to manage activities across the lifecycle
  2. Knowledge of API/Microservices & App Development
  3. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) and leveraging their reporting capabilities

What else you need to know:

This is a permanent role. Preferred locations are Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Bradford, or Sheffield.

We support work-life balance with hybrid working, requiring attendance at least days per month (pro-rata for part-time). Consider your travel distance and costs when applying.
