Technical Project Manager (Multiple Positions) (REF255655I)

Robert Bosch LLC seeks Technical Project Manager (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Lead cross-functional team comprised of software and hardware (mechanical and electrical) component managers, software function developers and calibration engineers. Define and track work packages. Responsible for requirements management and evaluation of customer specifications. First point of contact for the OEM on all technical topics related to the project. Align and negotiate scope and timing with the customer. Ensure system and software development, validation, and delivery are according to guidelines and processes (e.g., ISO26262, ASPICE). Lead weekly meetings with the customer and internal project teams. Report project status to US senior management monthly. Maintain all project records and documentation. Coordinate Design Change Requests from the OEM. Prepare and communicate technical presentations for the customer.

REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Materials Science or a related field. Plus 7 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Project Lead, or occupation involving project management. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:

  1. Vehicle networking, diagnostics and debugging complex systems;
  2. Vehicle or system test and release procedures in the automotive or related industry;
  3. Vehicle architecture and chassis control interfaces;
  4. Embedded control software and communicate software changes;
  5. Structuring, moderating and promoting collaboration with international teams, negotiation with customers;
  6. Vehicle dynamics/ braking systems and testing activities in vehicles;
  7. Calibration (vehicle testing) of ESP or related braking systems.
