Job summary

Fluor in Avonmouth, Bristol is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee a major LNG-to-LPG terminal conversion. The role covers governance from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning and handover, with a focus on safety, schedule and budget adherence.

The successful candidate will lead the project team, manage stakeholders, and ensure smooth transition to operations, while coordinating with engineering, procurement and construction activities across Europe.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering major industrial projects in Europe.
• Experience in UK market is highly advantageous.
• Background in tank terminals or bulk liquid storage sectors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall project progress, schedule, budget and milestones.
• Provide governance and strategic oversight throughout the project.
• Challenge teams to maintain quality, efficiency and delivery.
• Collaborate with local Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Report on performance, risks, opportunities and key decisions.
• Support execution through engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up.
• Ensure effective stakeholder communication and decision-making.
• Facilitate transition from execution to terminal operations.
• Provide post-completion support to operations during handover.
