Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee ICT projects from initiation to delivery. You’ll manage resources, budgets, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. The role requires close collaboration with technical teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring solutions are robust, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage ICT projects, ensuring delivery of business and technical outcomes.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage risks.
  • Coordinate across ICT functions (architecture, service delivery, security, DevOps) to ensure alignment and operational readiness.
  • Oversee supplier performance, budgets, and resources.
  • Produce and maintain documentation, training materials, and support handovers to service teams.
  • Support continuous improvement and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering ICT projects in a complex environment using methodologies such as PRINCE2.
  • Strong knowledge of IT architecture, networks, cloud technologies, and infrastructure.
  • Skilled in project planning, control techniques, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing resources in a matrix environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites; you will be required to undergo a basic driving test to enable use of company vehicles.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ITIL.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
